“You’re a Good Boy Charlie Brown”, Charles M. Schulz Museum
December 6th, 2007
Did you know the official name of the airport is Charles M. Schulz Sonoma County Airport?
In 2000, the airport was re-named after Charles M. Schulz, the famed cartoonist of the Peanuts comic strip who resided in Santa Rosa, California.
Many people who loved the Snoopy comic strip will also love the museum that opened in Santa Rosa in August 2002. The museum celebrates the life of Charles M. Schulz and the Peanuts characters with comic strips, interesting artwork and more.
.. and you’ll even have Charlie Brown waiting there to greet you!
P.S. You can also go to Snoopy’s Gallery and Gift Shop and the famous Snoopy’s Redwood Empire Ice Arena (maybe you’ll feel up to ice-skating) just right around the corner!
